It was only a matter of time before we dove into my rap selections.

Once every… idk 2 months maybe i’ll wake up with an insatiable craving for rap. it’ll last for a few days. all I can consume is rap. hard, bass heavy rap. it’s so fun.

A couple of weeks ago, henry’s advice column was focused on my suggestions for establishing an exercise routine. listening to rap should be a part of that routine. you feel so… cool, so sexy!!! when working out to rap. SAME THING WHEN YOU DRIVE HOLY SHIT.

ok sorry - OG Beeper will go down in my top 5 favorite songs by A$AP Rocky. Off of Rocky’s 2018 album Testing - this song tells the story of a young Rocky and his aspirations to become a rapper.

I think of him always. he is the VERY FIRST straight male I ever heard speak about hygiene and beauty and fashion and taking care of yourself and having swagger. he is a huge inspiration for me. I love him a lot.

Idk what caused it but over the last few months I have somehow strayed from my habits/routine that keep me fiscally responsible.

I was someone who NEVER understood people who door-dashed food. I would cook all my meals or go pick it up myself???

but then it happened. I found myself ordering SO MANY MEALS ON DOORDASH. once you do it once you get trapped in a never ending cycle. it’s way too enabling I can’t handle it. It’s almost like an add*ction???

For those of you unfamiliar with Kerwin Frost - allow me to introduce you to his genius. IMDB provides a reasonable summation of who he is:

Kerwin Frost is a Harlem-born comedian, entertainer, DJ, host and style maven. He was one of the pioneers of the soho youth streetwear scene, now regarded by Vogue as "Fashion's Funniest Man" and by GQ as "Your Favorite Influencer's Favorite Influencer".

I’ve found creative guidance in him for as along as I can remember. He educated me - through his YouTube series Kerwin Frost Talks on the influence Harlem has on the culture and street style of the rest of the world.

If you enjoy this conversation he has with A$AP - I would highly encourage you to watch his plethora of other YouTube interviews he has done. (I would suggest SZA, Post Malone, and Tyler the Creator). Below you’ll also find some really stunning pictures of me and Kerwin when I met him at Coachella 2022. He told me I have beautiful eyes. ROSE: ok this week I was really productive and it was good productivity. I really felt like I was getting stuff done you know what I mean. some times you’re productive but it just feels like chaos.

THORN: um well nothing stresses me out more in the entire world than moving and I’m going to have to move at the end of next month. wait which speaking of do any of you know how to do that forward mail thing? I truly have so much anxiety about how much mail I must miss because it is going to my old addresses. shit drives me truly nuts.

BUD: ok but on the flip side I found what is literally the house of my dreams and it really seems like I might be able to get it. unless this landlord is REALLY leading me on. I’m so fucking excited about it guys I can’t wait to make a video. and i’m kicking my feet thinking that hoopmancindy.luong might text me again next week ;)

well i’m just full of excuses aren’t I :( I wasn't able to film this week due to work travveeeelllll i’m sowwy. and i’m traveling again next week what the fuck and the week after that holy shit. ok but I swear to g*d I will find time to film and respond to your guys emails. I SWEAR.

In lieu of this weeks advice column i’ve been trying to go through and respond to as many of you individually as I can! If you haven’t heard from me yet I hope I can get to yours soon!

As far as my travels go - next week I will be attending my first brand trip ever :,) with Sephora!!

it’s not lost on me I wouldn’t have the opportunity to go on this trip if it weren’t for you guys supporting me and following all my silly projects. you really have changed my life forever and for that I’m forever indebted to each of you. thank you from the bottom of my heart.

and then the week after that is Coachella!!!!

SO with that being said there is going to be a ridiculous amount of content coming out of this young man in the coming weeks so please stay tuned for that!
